OUR STORY · A YOUNG SHOP, AN OLD TRADE Twenty-five years at the bench, now on your High Street.
Neil spent more than twenty-five years in the optical industry, designing frames and managing the making of spectacles for opticians up and down the country. In 2017 he opened The Vision Factory in Worcester with Bimal, an optometrist, on a simple idea: sell the trade’s own glasses straight to the public.
In August 2022 the Leominster shop opened at 5 High Street, on the Buttercross where Broad Street, Drapers’ Lane and Church Street meet, and closer to Neil’s home town of Bromyard. It is a small shop in a town known for its timber-framed buildings, and that suits us, the lower the overhead, the lower the price.
1990s Neil starts a career in the optical industry, designing, manufacturing and managing the making of spectacles, over twenty-five years in all.

Today A small independent on the Buttercross, undercutting the chains on frames, lenses and reglazes, and explaining every choice plainly.
